Sweetbriar Camp Open House
Sweetbriar Discovery Camps are a hit for children who have a love of nature and the outdoors. Come by and learn more about our vacation camp programs, here meet a few of out resident animals, and take a tour of the facility. Refreshments will be served.
When: Saturday, March 3 12pm to 4pm
Who: Summer Camp Sessions available for ages 3 to 15
How Much: Free to all comers
Holiday Discovery Camps
If your child loves nature and animals find out more about Sweetbriar’s Holiday Discovery Camp. Through hands-on activities, live animals, crafts, and learning adventures on our 55-acre preserve, campers will gain a greater appreciation and understanding of nature and the Wildlife that lives here. Camp themes include Animal Mysteries, Homes and Habitats, The Great Race, Winter Wonders, and We Will Rock You
When: February 20 through 24, February 24, 9am-3pm daily, aftercare is available until 5pm for an additional $20/day
Fees: $60/child/day for members, $70 for non-members or $235/child/week for members, $275 for non-members
Who: Ages 5 to 11
Spring Discovery Camp
Sweetbriar is presenting our exciting discovery days during holiday vacations. Each day will focus on a different natural science theme. The days will be filled with participatory learning activities, interaction with live animals, games, stories, and more. Themes include Caring for Wildlife, Returning Home, Scales, Tales, and Teeth, A Whale of a Tale, & Animal Olympics.
When: April 9 through 13, 9am to 3pm. After Care available until 5pm for an additional $20/day
Who: Children ages 5 to 11
How much: $60/day for members, $70/day for non-members $235/week for members, $275/week for non-members A 10% discount is available for early registration before April 1st
